HCC honors nursing graduates
HCC’s Nursing graduates gathered for the college's annual pinning ceremony on Thursday, May 29. Pinning symbolizes entrance into the profession; a proud moment for the students pictured, right.
During Nursing Week, the traditional Nursing Awards Luncheon, attended by Holyoke Mayor Michael J. Sullivan, honored the achievements of the graduates. The following students received awards:
Janet Hanifin Kay Scully Award for Outstanding Performance in Academic & Clinical Nursing
Marissa Lourake Nurse Faculty Award for Excellence in Clinical Nursing
Lyudmila Melnichuk Heritage Hall Gerontology Clinical Excellence Award
Rose Ndiritu Nurse Faculty Award for Excellence in Clinical Nursing by an LPN
Sarah Theriaque Nurse Faculty Award for Compassionate Care
