The Vagina Monologues comes to HCC
A V-Day 2009 Campaign Event
to End Violence Against Women and Girls
The Vagina Monologues, and Obie Award-winning play by Eve Ensler, will be performed in the Leslie Phillips Forum on Wednesday, February 25, at 11 a.m., and Thursday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m. A fabulous cast of HCC students, faculty, and staff will read the monologues, which reference the vagina as an aspect of the female body and a tool of female empowerment and self-awareness. A donation of $1 for admission will benefit Womanshelter/Companeras, an organization dedicated to assisting those whose lives are affected by battering and abuse.
