Campus Safety

Your safety is important to us! The information provided here is aimed at helping the members of our community be safe both on and off campus. In case of fire or to call an ambulance, please dial 911 from any campus phone. For all other emergencies, dial 2211 for the HCC Police Department from any campus phone or call 413.552.2211 from a cell phone. Be sure to state your location and describe your emergency. If possible, always stay on the phone with the police dispatcher to help her/him better assist you. If there is information that you can't find and would like to see on these pages, please email with your suggestions.

HCC police officers are on duty 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. Each officer is a graduate of the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Academy or the Massachusetts State Police Training Academy.
