Holyoke Community College Publications

HCC publishes major catalogs and schedules in print or on the web in PDF Format.  Publications are put on the website as they become available. 

To request printed versions of current publications, contact the Welcome Center (413) 552-2000, the admission office (413) 552-2321 or email admissions@hcc.mass.edu

PDF's require viewer software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free download)

Notice: Effective for Spring 2010 semester, HCC will no longer publish Course Bulletins. The Registration Booklet will remain the (print) source for credit course information along with course info available online. Publication date: Oct. 29 for Intersession and Spring 2010 semester.

The new CareerFocus Magazine will provide articles and information about career and educational paths, along with information about HCC’s academic programs and education and training for business, organizations, and individuals. Publication date: December 10 for Spring 2010 semester.

The Community Ed Bulletin will provide noncredit course schedule information for personal and professional enrichment courses and programs for adults and children. Publication date: Mid-late December for Spring 2010 semester.

Course Bulletins
You can still register for some fall noncredit courses!

  • Provide comprehensive course schedule information (date, time, location, etc.) for credit and non-credit courses.
  • Are published three times per year for fall, spring and summer semesters.
  • Include non-credit courses information such as training for business and industry, personal enrichment courses, courses for K-12 teachers and healthcare professionals, Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED, and special courses and programs for youth, women, and older adults.
  • Publication dates: fall semester: mid-July;  spring semester: early December;  and summer semester: mid-April.

Registration Booklets

  • Are published twice a year about a week in advance of the priority registration period for currently enrolled students. Note: Priority Registration is not available for seniors (age 60+) enrolled in the tuition-free program.
  • Include credit course schedule information (date, time, location, etc)

Publication dates:  spring semester is published the preceding fall (October) and the fall semester is published in the preceding spring (March)

    Visit the academic section of the website for program information, including printable information sheets, and available department pages.  Although information on the web is the same as the print version of the catalog, the printed version is considered the official college catalog.

    • Is distributed free of charge to alumni and friends of HCC.
