Favorite thing about teaching:
It’s an art. No matter how well prepared I am, something new happens and art becomes magic and magic becomes life. Helping people to achieve their dreams and goals makes my dreams and goals true

Memorable moment at HCC:

During the summer of 2006 my barber told me that she wanted to become a nurse, but that she did not have the time to go to school, and that she had been out of school for a long time. I explained to her how HCC works, the services we provide and that trere are ways to start after several years out of school. Well, right now (spring 07) she is in her second semester, working to achieve her dreams.

Teaching philosophy:
Teaching is the art of helping others to become their best. So teaching is a facilitation process where the subject is the student. In this way, the students can liberate all of their potential, becoming  better human beings and follow their truest desires: those that define who they really are.
