Degree and from where it was received: BA - Clark University MST - Boston College MA - Smith College PhD - UMass Amherst Courses you teach: Bio 110 General Botany Bio 115 Plant Genetics and Evolution Bio 195 and 295 Independent Study in Biology (I also taught Bio 103-104 for many years as an adjunct) Accomplishments (personal or professional): Published papers in a number of peer-reviewed professional journals as well as in several general publications and newspapers Elected to Sigma Xi, national research society, in 1993. Favorite thing about teaching: Student questions; especially questions that haven't occurred to me before and that I can't answer!
