Thinking about college? Congratulations! Whether you're returning after a long break, enrolling for the first time, know what you want to study, or want to explore your options, HCC can help you get on the path to success.

We understand that juggling college with a job and family is challenging; that's why we offer the flexibility of day, evening, Saturday and online classes. Have work experience that relates to your course of study? Our challenge exams can cut your courseload by offering credit for your knowledge and experience.

Connecting with other adult students and staff who understand your needs can make all the difference. HCC's New Directions program serves a wide range of new and returning adult students, including those who have been out of school for many years. New Directions staff will help you navigate the college admissions process and provides support as you transition to college life. Our goal is to help you define your career and educational goals, be successful at HCC, and, if you choose, identify opportunities for transfer to a four-year college or university. HCC also offers resources and special advising for veterans, active duty military personnel, their spouses and children.

Ready to get started? Terrific! Follow these five easy steps! If you have any questions, please contact us at admissions@hcc.edu or 413.552.2321.
