Students entering Holyoke Community College in Fall 2009 or more recently are eligible to participate in the MassTransfer Program.
MassTransfer is a statewide program that guarantees admission, tuition reduction, and transfer of credit to the University of Massachusetts and most Massachusetts state colleges. Just enroll in an eligible degree program at HCC and complete your associate’s degree at HCC with a GPA of at least 2.5. There is no obligation to attend a Massachusetts public college or university.

MassTransfer: General Education Transfer Block
For students who enroll at Holyoke Community College Fall 2009 or more recently.
The MassTransfer general education transfer block replaces the Commonwealth Transfer Compact.
The general education transfer block consists of the following 34 college-level credits:
These credits, when completed together with a 2.0 or higher GPA , fully transfer to any Massachusetts public higher education institution, even if the associate’s degree is not completed. These credits also satisfy the general education /distribution/core requirements at any other Massachusetts public higher education institution, with the receiving institution being able to add no more than six additional credits/two courses.
