Transferring to the University of Massachusetts Amherst

UMass Amherst Course Equivalency Guide

The University of Massachusetts Amherst has many competitive programs, especially in the Isenberg School of Mangemant, Kinesiology and Engineering. 

Requirements for Isenberg School of Management

 (Accounting, Finance & Operation Management, Marketing, Management)

• Enroll in Holyoke Community College's Business Administration MassTransfer Option.
• Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in order to be admitted.
• Complete the Intent to Enroll Form early in the semester before you plan to transfer.
• Send an official copy of your transcript at time of application and one after your last semester with a graduation date on it.

Requirments for Sports Management at UMass

• Enroll in Holyoke Community College's Sport Management degree
• Minimum GPA is 3.0 in order to be admitted.
• Complete the Intent to Enroll Form early in the semester before you plan to transfer.
• Send an official copy of your transcript at time of application and one after your last semester with a graduation date on it.

Requirements for Hospitality Management

• Enroll in Holyoke Community College's Hospitality Management Transfer Degree.
• Minimum GPA is 2.7 in order to be admitted.
• Complete the Intent to Enroll Form early in the semester before you plan to transfer.
• Send an official copy of your transcript at time of application and one after your last semester with a graduation date on it.

Kinesiology Degree

Those choosing to major in Kinesiology are required to have a minimum 3.0 GPA or 2.7 if they have a minimum of a B grade in all science courses.

Engineering

Engineering will require all student transferring to Engineering at UMass to have a minimum 2.7 GPA at time of application.

Students who will be graduating from Holyoke Community College under MassTransfer will be eligible for UMass Amherst Community College Connection. UMCCC receive benefits that other students do not get.
