Futsal (Indoor Soccer)
Playing
Rules
All Leagues and open soccer are to use
the futsal ball.
Soccer balls are permitted in the Bartley Center.
"A League" Rules
- All players must check in at and show an ID to participate
in games.
- One player from each team may check out a ball for their team, which must
be returned with the pinney to receive ID back. Only the regulation indoor
balls handed out at matches may be used on the courts.
- Play is coed, indoor rules, 5 v 5 plus a keeper.
- There are no limits on the number of men or women on the field at any time.
- All substitute players must remain standing and off the court to the greatest
extent possible.
- Each team will play one game a week with a possibility of two games/week
at playoff time.
Open Soccer Rules
- No sign-ups, no rosters, just come, sign out a ball and play!
- All teams may play on single or double courts, but must make single courts
if more players show up than can get in the available game.
- All games will be open to all interested players at the start of the gym
time- late arriving players may fill in as players leave, or start new games.
- The gym space is not to primarily be used for team practice, and such use
is available only if additional space exists.
- You must have an ID to sign out a ball.
