The conference is free and includes lunch. Registration is required. Go to www.hcc.edu/conference

The keynote speaker is Stephanie Luce, associate professor of labor studies at the Murphy Institute for Worker Education and Labor Studies in New York City. Conference workshops include: "Good Green Jobs: owned by union members?" "Health Care Justice: Massachusetts Medicare for All"; "Student Labor Action Project" ; "Tax the Rich!" and "So Called ‘Non-Profits.'"

"We see this as primarily an organizing conference," said Jon Weissman, coordinator for Western Mass Jobs with Justice. "We see the participants as organizers and potential organizers for social justice. In their discussions, workshops, networking, and announcements, they will move certain organizing projects - for good jobs, health care, education, fair taxes, and workers' rights - a few steps closer to success."
