Faces of Homelessness The National Coalition for the Homeless is a DC-based advocacy group. One of its missions is to educate the public about homelessness by having real people tell their stories. Welcome Wednesdays - offer prospective students the opportunity to meet with an admissions counselor who will provide an overview of the admissions, financial aid, and transfer process.

You will also learn about the variety of services available to our students including career and academic counseling, services for students with disabilities, as well as free tutoring and educational assistance. Each session is followed by a personalized tour of our state-of-the-art campus, including the brand new Kittredge Center for Business and Community.

Unsure of what to study in college? You can complete a career profile and meet with a career counselor to discuss your results at Welcome Wednesdays! Gain a better understanding of which careers match your personality and learning style!

Flash Fiction Contest - Our Sixth Contest!
Presented by Pulp City - HCC's Art and Literary Magazine
How does it work?
* At the beginning of the contest, you'll be given a writing prompt and then 30 minutes to write a piece of fiction on-the-spot.
* You will write on the computers in Kittredge-514.
*No need to sign up in advance. Just show up and you’re in!
Prizes! - Including a 25 dollar gift certificate to the Holyoke Mall and guaranteed publication in an upcoming Pulp City for the winner.
