Advising Appointments
Current students are strongly encouraged to meet with their assigned advisor during the spring and fall semesters. You can find your advisor's contact information in Navigate, DegreeWorks, or Online Services.
In the event that your assigned advisor is unavailable, you may book an appointment with one of our professional staff advisors by doing the following:

Drop-In Advising Only
(Available during end of December/January through add/drop week and August through add/drop week)
Just before the start of our spring and fall semesters, our office is open for drop-in advising either in-person or on Zoom! Please have a photo ID ready for check-in.

- Choosing and registering for classes
- Helping you set up your HCC accounts
- Creating an academic plan
- Changing majors
- Discussing career options
- Referrals for support services such as tutoring or mental health counseling
- Discussing strategies for improving your GPA
- Providing basic transfer information
