Gee's Bend Freedom Quilting Bee's Lasting Legacy

Immerse yourself in color through the beautiful designs of the Gee's Bend Freedom Quilting Bee. Freedom Quilting Bee is a modern success story about people cooperating, about women who work hard to make their dreams come true. Come learn about the quilts that the New York Times called “Some of the most miraculous works of modern art America has produced” and participate in a color installation, recreating the quilts on the windows of the Campus Center Cafeteria.
