General Biology Prerequisite Placement Exam
Students have a unique opportunity to take a General Biology (BIO 107) placement exam in the Assessment Center that allows students to waive the prerequisite of General Biology and become eligible to register for General Biology II: Diversity of Life on Earth - BIO 108, Human Anatomy & Physiology I - BIO 217, Microbiology - BIO 229, Genetics - BIO 243, or Anatomy and Physiology of Domestic Animals I - VET 133.
Exam Information
- The exam is free of charge
- Passing this placement exam will not award credit hours for General Biology (BIO 107)
- 100 multiple choice questions
- Pass/fail grade (75% is passing)
- You may take the test up to two times in a 6 month period
