- Zhane Catala is a first-year student at HCC and a member of the Multicultural Academic Services program, also known as MAS, which means "more" in Spanish.
- HCC grad Noah Paradis-Burnett, STEM Scholar and scholarship winner, is continuing his engineering studies at UMass.
- 40-year-old Springfield resident and army veteran Carl King is both a student and a lab technician at the new HCC MGM Culinary Arts Institute.
- Isabelle Griffin wanted to attend Mount Holyoke College. HCC helped get her there.
