Event proceeds to benefit Thrive Center
HCC's annual Empty Bowls benefit returns on Wednesday, Dec. 11, after a five-year hiatus.
Purchase a handmade ceramic bowl and fill it with your choice of homemade soup. All proceeds go to support the HCC Thrive Center and Food Pantry.
Interested in making a bowl for the event? Come to one of the Visual Art department's weekly "throwdowns," bowl making and decorating workshops on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ceramics room, FPA 325: Nov. 6, Nov. 13, and Nov. 20.
The HCC Visual Art department last held its Empty Bowls fundraiser in 2019. It was subsequently put on hold due to the pandemic.
